[MOD] PurePerformances�X Golden Edition for Samsung Galaxy Y GT-S5360
Here is a very neat performance pack made by Jeeko from xda-developers forums. It contains a HUGE amount of improvements for the Galaxy Y and other devices. According to Jeeko , this is not one of those usual init.d scripts. So what will this improve on your phone you ask? A lot of things. They are just too many to count, but luckaly the developer has made a very accurate list.
It has been tested on the Galaxy Y and it definitely seems to have improven the performance for the CPU, Memory, I/O, 2D and 3D graphics scores on benchmark apps. Here it increased the total score in a Quadrant benchmark test from 832 to 931.

Battery:
- Drastically decreased the drainage of battery
- Check the activities that consume too much battery stop them with PureWakelocks?
- When the phone is charging reduces system services for faster charging
- The battery is calibrated on every boot
- Disable animation of the system when the battery is nearly exhausted
- Improvements in build.prop as regards the part of consumption
Graphics:
- Enables a non-aggressive dithering to save CPU
- When you lock the device, the engine makes sure that the GPU is turned off
- Enables deep sleepalso in the bugged rom
- Parts of bravia engine
- Of course parts of CrossBreeder (credits to dev)
- Of course parts of Adrenaline Engine (credits to dev)
- Of course PureGraphics HD,
- Of course V6 supercharger
- Generates video entropy (like seeder)
CPU, Governors, I/O schedulers:
- Slightly improves the scaling of the frequencies (for better results you need a good kernel)
- Lightens the load on the CPU switching the workload to GPU rendering
- Enable the swap partition in Android (experimental)

Installation:
- Boot into CWM Recovery
- Go to mounts and storage and mount /system and /data if they are not (just to be on the safe side)
- Go back, choose the option install zip from sdcard
- Then choose the option choose zip from sdcard
- Locate the performance pack zip file and choose it
- Then choose Yes when asked to confirm
- Wait a few seconds and after it says it's complete, go back and choose reboot system now

S4 Launcher + Weather + Fonts + Widget for Samsung Galaxy Y GT-S5360
Here is yet another Galaxy S4 look-a-like launcher for the Samsung Galaxy Y. This one is currently being modified by TheRoHit18 from xda-developers forums. On top of that, in this post I will provide you a S4 Weather look-a-like (based off Ya Weather) that is again modded by TheRohit18 with a transparent background and a flashable S4 fonts zip file.
This one seems awfully similar to SaM-RoN's S4 launcher release that was exported from a chinese device, but to have it available in a seperate post, there must be some changes applied that make it look different than SaM-RoN's.
The previous version of this launcher had an issue where the user would install it and then get a black screen when trying to launch it. This issue is claimed to be fixed in this version 4.

- Use 7zip to unpack downloaded files (http://7-zip.org/)
- Use Odin v1.85 to flash (https://docs.google.com/open?id=0B9G...WYtalVMVFdBbWc)
- USB Debugging in Settings->Application->Development must be ticked on for proper rooting
- Flashing stock LK7 and lited LK7 wont remove your apps and files. It just reflash the system partition.
- I've removed google apps (gmail, youtube, maps) so if you use them just download them from the market.
- Try using Holo Launcher which in my opinion is superior to TW Launcher.
